3D composite drainage network, also known as a three-dimensional composite drainage system, is a geosynthetic product designed to provide effective drainage and moisture management in various civil engineering and construction applications. It consists of multiple layers or components that work together to facilitate the flow of water and prevent the buildup of excess moisture within soil or structures.

3D Composite Drainage Network Components
- Core Structure: The core of the drainage network consists of a three-dimensional, open structure that allows water to flow through. It can be made from materials such as geonet, geospacer, or geocomposite. The core provides the primary drainage pathways for water.
- Filter/Protection Layer: The filter or protection layer is placed above or below the core structure. It prevents soil particles from clogging the core while allowing water to pass through freely. This layer is typically made of non-woven geotextile or geocomposite fabric.
- Cover/Protection Layer: In some applications, an additional cover or protection layer may be placed on top of the drainage network to protect it from damage during installation or construction activities.
Applications:
- Landfill Drainage
- Highway Subgrade and Pavement Drainage
- Railway Drainage
- Tunnel Drainage
- Underground Structure Drainage
- Retaining Wall Drainage
- Garden and Sports Field Drainage
